Nikos Stathakis is the Data & AI Director at Steelmet, where he leads the strategy and operationalization of Data & AI for the Viohalco Companies and Corporate Servoces, driving digital transformation across their industrial businesses. His role spans the full Data & AI value chain—from strategy and governance to architecture, solution design, and scaled adoption— while supporting the autonomy and priorities of each industrial segment. With over 17 years of experience, Nikos has consistently delivered business value through data- driven transformation and AI enablement.

He has led high-performing teams, established governance frameworks, and implemented AI solutions in complex, matrixed environments across Europe, the Middle East, the U.S., and Latin America. Prior to Steelmet, he led the Group Data & AI practice at Piraeus Bank and held senior consulting roles at Accenture and Deloitte. He holds an MSc in Operational Research from LSE, an MBA from ALBA, and additional degrees in computer science, decision support systems, analytics, and digital marketing. He currently focuses on scaling AI innovation, enabling data democratization, and driving operational excellence across the Viohalco Companies.
