Platon Velonias is an innovation and business development executive over 35 years of experience in the ICT sector, currently leading the R&D and innovation unit at Uni Systems. He oversees strategic partnerships, EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, CEF), and startup engagement initiatives that foster co-creation between early-stage innovators and

large-scale digital transformation programmes. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles at Info-Quest, Decision, Oracle, and Intrasoft. He holds an Executive MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
