Bogy Cimoszko Skowronski has been active in developing and funding technology companies for several decades. She has lived and worked in the US, Poland, Switzerland and England. She does not only work on her own portfolio of investments, but also contributes to the development of the tech ecosystem in Central and Eastern Europe, and Poland in particular.
Currently she serves on the board of StartSmart CEE (www.startsmartcee.org), (ex MIT EF CEE) that she co-founded, and also is a partner at FounderPartners (www.founderpartners.co), an investment firm in Silicon Valley, comprising serial founders, who help tech founders build their business in the US, by joining them as minority co-founders and typically first investors.
Bogy is passionate about helping tech founders scale, especially founders from Central and Eastern Europe. Both StartSmart CEE and FounderPartners fulfill that mission.
StartSmart CEE is a tech accelerator, operating since 2015, domiciled in Warsaw, it attracts founders from the all over the CEE. It connects founders with over 50 mentors, over 70 corporates, and the growing ecosystem of investors. Founders have the opportunity to participate in bootcamps to Boston, Berlin and London, aiming to strengthen their global scaling muscle.
Adopting technology skilfully is on every corporation's mind, especially now in the age of AI. Bogy likes to play to her strength by connecting innovative young minds with deep industrial expertise, aiming to accelerate development of the high value added sectors in Poland.
Bogy is a graduate of MIT with BS in Course I (Civil Engineering) and Harvard Business School (MBA).
